When I went prom dress shopping my junior year, I had a specific look in mind. I wanted a red corsetted bustier dress with a mermaid skirt shape. I looked everywhere, even online, but nothing matched the picture in my head. From what I found, the dresses with corset tops were all paired with a princess ballgown shape. So I decided to make my own.
